Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark plays host to the Bakersfield’s minor league baseball team, the Blaze and the local high school baseball tournaments took place at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. This magnificent venue is cited in the north downtown. This arena was incorporated in 1941; it is the sole professional baseball stadium lasting in the United States and the oldest stadium in the California League.

Events that take place here are the private Seven Oaks Country Club, the Bakersfield Country Club, the Rio Bravo Country Club and the public River Lakes Golf Club.
Visitors can enjoy a nice evening watching a concert or movie in Fox Theater. Fox theater is a refurbished cite that manifests different movies, concerts and diverse local and outside artists. At present the city is home to three famous theaters naming Edwards Cinemas Bakersfield Stadium 14 and United Artist East Hills Mall 10 and Reading Cinemas Valley Plaza 16, the only megaplex.
A variety of fun-filled activities entertains tourists and the natives at The Dome. Earlier “The Dome” was called a Strongbow Stadium. This is the place, where most of the tourists like to spend their nightlife for its colorful events, enthusiastic performances and rich food options.
