RECESSION AND MACHINERY MOVING COMPANIES

January 2nd, 2012 · Machinery Moving

Business organizations thrive across different economic and financial cycles thanks to their productivity levels, the niche they are focused on, the size and eagerness of their market and the way they are managed. Thus, those companies that have good leaders that are capable of inspiring their different staff members and that know how to make the right decisions are usually those that can undergo difficult times more efficiently.

Generally speaking, an economy undergoing a recession process is never a good piece of news for the corporate world. Large international corporations, middle sized companies and small business organizations can be seriously affected by its consequences: falling employment rates, lower salaries, dumped economy, reduced expenses and high costs. However, recession can also be beneficial for some business organizations, for instance for machinery moving companies.

Machinery moving companies usually find themselves tackling multiple projects simultaneously in times of recession. This is due to the fact that many companies need to leave their facilities and move either to smaller or less expensive ones or they face the challenge of setting up in a different location, probably in another county or state where they are offered any kind of tax or financial advantage or they look forward to finding a more thriving market.

And in such scenario, machinery moving professionals are the only ones that can help them dismantle, upload, transport and download their different pieces of equipment. In addition, these are the only organizations with the required expertise in logistics and time planning that can ensure industries and factories that their moving will be done according to schedule and that none of their machinery will be damaged. Whether it is required to transport it by road or to upload it to a ship across the sea, machinery movers can be companies' best friends in times of recession.

GUIDELINES TO AN EFFICIENT MACHINERY MOVING EXPERIENCE

December 27th, 2011 · Machinery Moving

Moving machinery from one place to the other, whether it is a few blocks away, to another neighborhood or overseas implies taking a lot of aspects into consideration so that this already complicated process can be done in a smooth manner. Needless to say, planning the whole relocation carefully and well ahead of time, analyzing any potential problem that may arise and having back up solutions to work it out can help factory and business owners and managers save time and money.

It is also important to rely on serious and experienced machinery moving professionals so that they can take care of all the required logistics and, in addition, know how to dismantle, load and download the machines and equipment that needs to be relocated.

Professional and experience machinery movers offer business owners and managers the advantage of providing them with a true-to-reality perspective of what the whole process will imply and establishing the most appropriate route to take as well as the necessary amount of time to do it. In turn, logistic experts will need to know: which machine or equipment will need to be relocated, the location of origin and of destination, any permits required and all the tasks involved in loading and uploading the machinery.

Once all this is done, the machinery movers will develop a schedule that will assign dates and time frames for all the different tasks that will have to be done. They will also inform you the amount of money that each process implies. In general, moving the entire equipment is much more affordable than just hiring their services to move certain pieces. If the machines that need to be transported are too large or too delicate, the logistic experts will charge you a special fee, especially if dismantling, loading and downloading the equipment implies certain specific skills or care.

November 10th, 2011 · Machinery Moving

Dunkel Bros. Machinery Moving was contracted by a local Orange County municipality to relocate two of it's prized artifacts from a storage facility to a new museum which depicts early life in the city during the 1800's. The first item was the original U.S. Postal Service buggy ever used there to deliver mail, which was built in 1860. The second item was a beautiful grape press from the vineyard of one the original settlers. Both structures were made of wood and iron and were preserved incredibly well. Great care was taken while moving them and special bracing had to be constructed in order to relocate them without damage.

The aquarium was transported from the Dunkel Bros. warehouse in La Mirada, CA to the client's home in La Quinta, where it was raised over the house by crane to the backyard. Once it landed in the back of the house, it was placed on several heavy duty dollies and rolled approximately 150 feet into the house and then onto the custom steel frame. No forklifts or other powered equipment was allowed inside the home in order to move the 4,900 lb. piece; only hydraulic jacks, lever bars, and manpower.
