Autoclave Move

Dunkel Bros. Machinery Moving was contracted by a local performance composites firm to move their new 95,000 pound autoclave from the equipment manufacturer to their factory floor and into a 62 inch deep pit. This autoclave was oversized by length, width, height, and weight. The project required months of planning and coordination with the parties involved but the transport and placement only took three days from start to finish.

Some of the equipment involved with this project was a 9-axle trailer with fifty feet of deck space to transport it, a 210 ton all terrain crane to offload it from the trailer, and a 160 ton four-leg gantry system to set it in the pit. Dunkel Bros. supplied the manpower and equipment to perform this project on time and on budget.
